Monarch
2005 Trakehner gelding
Bred by Sovereign Farm
Sired by Emeer,
out of Marcella by Vincent
Monarch is a typey, charismatic gelding by the Trakehner stallion EMEER. Emeer's sire is the famous Habicht, sire of numerous high-level competition horses, including the 2004 Team-Bronze Olympian Windfall. Monarch's dam MARCELLA competed to Second Level in dressage with her amateur owner at that time.
Monarch is a very elegant gelding with an excellent combination of beauty and substance. He has a strong foundation with straight, correct legs, medium bone and good-sized joints for his size. Monarch has ideal conformation with a well-placed neck, strong back of medium length and large hindquarters. With his uphill and expressive gaits, he has tremendous potential as a performance horse. He is expected to mature 16.2.
